User Experience Design is a process of designing digital products that are easy to use, create a great, enjoyable experience, and solve important problems for the user. UX design is a wide concept that entails usability, design, branding and technical aspects of creating a new solution.
Our task was to develop a new shopping path for customers from the functional and aesthetic side (new look&feel of the service). Will the implementation of the new version of the website not have a negative impact on the business metrics? We think this is the main challenge in the context of a UX/UI design for a thriving e-commerce site.
The client’s internal team has been working on re-platforming the site to their proprietary e-commerce system. The implementation of a new shop engine was a good opportunity to rework the visual layer as well.
The aim was to both implement new solutions, refresh the design, optimize the site in terms of user experience, and, above all, create a new, single website that would fulfill both the shop and image functions. So we started everything from scratch.
Our main goal was to increase the conversion rate by identifying weak points in the purchase path and proposing more effective solutions. A side goal was to give the website a new character, more consistent with current trends in design.
Another problem that the client faced were problems with managing the visual layer of the site – stylistic inconsistencies that negatively affected its reception. Our task was to develop a set of rules for creating graphic elements for the website.

We will conduct workshops in order to meet you, learn everything there is to know about your project, talk with stakeholders and get a grasp on their understanding of the project and who the user is. It’s necessary to get your perspective.
We will interview your users, create personas, go through customer journey. We will choose the most important features and information for the project and the user. We will develop an information architecture, sitemap and user flow diagram.
After taking everything we’ve learned so far into consideration, we start designing. We create a low-fidelity prototype, test it with the user until we have all the answers on what to improve on. At the end, we will give you a finished prototype.

Our team specializes exclusively in e-commerce UX/UI design. We combine Baymards-certified expertise with extensive experience across various e-commerce niches, including fashion, beauty, and home decor. Our data-driven approach and deep understanding of online shopping behaviors allow us to create designs that not only look great but also drive measurable business results.
The timeline varies depending on the project scope, but most e-commerce UX/UI redesigns take 8-12 weeks from initial discovery to final implementation. We break this down into phases: 1-2 weeks for research and strategy, 2-3 weeks for wireframing, 3-4 weeks for design and prototyping, and 2-3 weeks for testing and refinement. We work closely with your team throughout the process to ensure minimal disruption to your ongoing operations.
We tailor our approach to your specific needs and constraints. In many cases, we can significantly improve your UX/UI by optimizing key elements of your existing site, such as the homepage, product pages, and checkout flow. For more extensive improvements, we may recommend a full redesign. We'll provide a clear recommendation after our initial assessment of your current site and business goals.
We establish clear, measurable goals at the beginning of each project and use various analytics tools to track performance. Key metrics we focus on include conversion rate, average order value, cart abandonment rate, time on site, and customer satisfaction scores. We also conduct user testing and gather qualitative feedback to ensure the new design meets user needs. Post-launch, we provide a detailed report comparing before and after metrics, demonstrating the ROI of our UX/UI improvements.
